Cabinets & modules

A cabinet is the enclosure — one receiving card, one power supply, and the unit a controller port is wired to. A module is an LED PCB inside it, fed from the receiving card's hub board, and the smallest part you can swap on site.

Across × down, in ports. 4 × 1 is four vertical strips, 1 × 4 four horizontal bands, 2 × 2 a quad. Cabinets divide as evenly as they can.

Click a cabinet in the preview to select its port. Drag across the preview to redraw the selected port's region — it snaps to cabinet edges.

Overlay

Overlays draw on top of any pattern — use the clock/frame counter to prove the wall is showing live video and not a frozen frame.

Logo layer

No image loaded. Pick one, or drop a file onto the preview.

Background composites the pattern over the logo with a lighten blend, so the pattern's dark ground lets the logo through and its bright elements still read. For a plain branded plate, use the Solid Field pattern with the logo over it.

The image stays on this machine and is never uploaded. It is not part of the setup link, but it is remembered between sessions if it's under about 1.5 MB.

Open the output window, drag it to the display feeding the processor, then press F in that window for a scale-free 1:1 fullscreen. Batch export triggers several downloads — the browser will ask permission once.

Copy setup link puts the whole configuration in the URL, so a wall's exact canvas / cabinet / pattern setup can be sent to someone else or bookmarked per job.

Video export

PNG sequence is the frame-accurate route into a media server, and what you want if the server needs ProRes or HAP — encode the sequence with ffmpeg afterwards.

Notes

1:1 is everything. If the status bar does not read 100%, the wall is seeing a scaled image and the pixel patterns will lie. Set the source output resolution to match the canvas exactly and disable any scaling in the processor.

Colour. Exported PNGs are untagged sRGB. Disable display colour management / ICC profiles on the playback machine or solid fields will not be the values you asked for.

Photosensitivity. The Motion pattern's Flash mode strobes the full field. Do not run it in front of an audience.
